OCZ Technology Expands 4GB & 8GB SDHC Flash Cards Product Range
Demand for larger flash memory cards is increasing as consumers acquire high-definition digital cameras, media players, and other devices that require more removable media. As a result, suppliers are updating their product range with a focus on the future-proof SDHC format, which overcomes the 2GB capacity limitation inherent in SD cards.
OCZ Technology Group Introduces New Line of SDHC Cards. Available in 4GB and 8GB flash memory cards fully compliant with SD 2 specification.0 and meeting the requirements of Speed Class 4 (write speed – not less than 4 Mb / s).
The manufacturer draws the attention of consumers that new large-volume cards are compatible only with the corresponding equipment. The SDHC specification is not designed for backward compatibility with SD card devices. Like other OCZ flash-based removable media, the new cards come with a 3-year warranty.
Recall that three 8 GB SDHC cards at once appeared about a month ago in the assortment of Kingston Technology.
