Native Instruments KORE 2 – the second generation of the complex for music studios
Native Instruments launches KORE 2, the second generation of its proprietary solution that integrates existing virtual instrument libraries into a single system controlled by a hardware controller.
Differences between the KORE 2 hardware controller and the first version:
- closer interaction with the software part
- new navigation buttons
- rearranged the location of the controllers, frequently used functions
added as hardware buttons
- improved jog wheel
- more compact design, not including more audio interface, which lightens the weight and lowers the price of the device
- Kensington Castle.
With the ability to integrate with separately sold software products, KORE version 2 now includes its own capabilities, such as a library of 500 KoreSound instruments, different styles and genres. Selected Voices based on ABSYNTH, FM8, GUITAR RIG, KONTAKT, MASSIVE and REAKTOR engines.
The new version also improves the user interface, in the center of which Sound Matrix is a host mixer that allows you to load various objects: instruments, effects, KoreSound, MIDI files, sequencers, arpeggiators.
Added new Step Sequenzer and Arpeggiator tools. All parameters are changed via the hardware controller.
Added 12 new effects, old ones – expanded with new options. In total, the user has 32 effects.
Other numerous innovations are described in detail on the product page.
KORE 2 will go on sale in June 2021 with a MSRP of EUR 449 / $ 499. KORE 1 owners will get a preferential update option.
