Supermicro C2SBE and C2SBA motherboards for Intel Core 2 Quad and Duo processors
Super Micro Computer announced two motherboards based on Intel P35 and G33 chipsets. The new items are allegedly “optimized for Intel Core 2 Quad and Duo processors” and will support the next generation of 45nm processors.
The maximum system bus frequency of new motherboards is 1333 MHz (1066 and 800 MHz are supported). The C2SBE board, based on a bundle of Intel P35 and ICH9, is equipped with four 32-bit PCI slots and three PCI-Express (x16, x4, x1). The board is designed to install up to 8 GB of DDR2-800 / 667 MHz RAM (4 x 240-pin sockets). The I / O list includes four SATA ports, 7.1-channel audio, Intel Gigabit LAN adapter, twelve (!) USB ports 2.0, six of which are on the rear panel.
The C2SBA board on the Intel G33 + ICH9 chipset is almost completely the same as the C2SBE, but has an integrated video subsystem based on Intel GMA 3100.

Both boards are made in the ATX form factor (305 x 244 mm).
