Philips Launches X200 Long Neck Laptop – Improved Flybook VM

As you know, the Flybook VM laptop shown almost a year ago, the original design of which provides it with ample opportunities for transformation, began to go on sale at the end of last month.

Recently, a portable computer under the brand name Philips X200 was spotted in online stores, in which the same Flybook VM is easily guessed. However, with slightly improved specs and a more affordable price tag:

  • Platform – Intel Centrino Duo Mobile Technology (Intel Core Duo U2500 – 1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2);
  • The amount of RAM – 1 GB;
  • Hard disk drive capacity – 100 GB;
  • Built-in 1.3 megapixel camera;
  • Graphics subsystem – Intel GMA 950;
  • Wi-Fi wireless adapter;
  • Optical storage;
  • Screen – widescreen, 12.1 inches.

The computer is designed to operate under Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium. Retail price is around $ 1,700. Interestingly, there is no information about the new product on the official Philips website.
